3 Weeks Old.. Any Roo's ??

This was our RIR Roo at 3 mos and 2 weeks.

Buttercup looks like it could be a rooster, but you can't be sure until a few more weeks.

Buttercup is the one with the tail pointing up.. Dangit!!

Honestly, if Buttercup is 3 mos old and doesn't have a comb yet, my guess is that she's a she.

Updating... Making sure we still have no roosters in the bunch. These are about 3 months old at this point..Wife seems to think that Dolly, the RIR is a roo and possibly one of the Buffs... Let us know and thanks! Also, we have 7 more in the incubator due this Saturday which is going to be our first. Very excited!

By the time my buff roosters were 3 month old they had larger obvious combs and waddles. They were also starting to crow. By the pics my guess is they are hens. It's really hard to tell at three weeks but by three months their combs and waddles are obvious. That has been for me. I'm on my fourth brood so I'm not as knowledgeable as most on this post. I got tired of getting roosters so this year I went with black sex links.

Your RIR looks like it has a pretty big comb and waddles for a three month old hen. Also it looks like it has some longer feathers growing out of the tail. That is what my leghorn roosters and buffs did. Instead of a uniform tail they grew longer feathers.

just to confirm.. these recent picks are them at 3 months. in the beginning of this post, they were 3 weeks.

taking that by 3 months we should see combs, i am going to guess they are hens.

what about the RIR ( Dolly ).. roo or no?
