Hello! My family is just starting out with backyard chickens. We’ve had 6 chicks for the past 3 weeks and I’m curious about these 3.
I have 2 lavender Orpingtons and one porcelain d’uccle.
Let me know what you think about gender!
I’ll start with the d’uccle, Peep. Peep is a sweet sweet baby. Really hoping for a pullet, but the pointy tail feathers have me worried:

Hi there! Welcome to BYC! :frow 3 weeks is still too young to tell.

Post more pictures when the chick is about 6 or 7 weeks old. :) Good luck!

Here are the lavender orpingtons. I’m thinking number 2 is a ‘roo and that maybe 1 is a pullet, but 🤷🏻‍♀️. They’re babies & im a newb.

Thanks! Even just knowing that they’re too young helps, because I stress too much about things I’m interpreting as very rooster-like.
