So pretty much I have three wine dots and they haven’t laid an egg in a day and all three of them are sitting over near the eggs with one of them being there most of the day (as in she is there 8 hours a day and she sleeps on her roost).I think ones broody because she’s pulled out some of her belly feathers. Not really sure what it is, their stomachs do feel big. One growls.

And yes, they did spill their grit annd oyster shells five minutes ago.

Is the growling one the same bird as the one with the plucked belly? If she's not staying on the nest/nest site at night she's not committed yet but probably on the way to being broody.
Yes, I think she’s broody . I was just worried because I thought that all three of them might be broody or something but I think that they might just have eaten a little bit too much. I got two eggs.

You need heavier containers for the grit and oyster shell or they will continue to knock them over. Heavy crock-style dog bowls work well.
Great idea! I usually use screw on ones on the walls in my other coops but haven’t had the time to add those to their coops.
