I havea 3 y.o. new jersey giant, yesterday everything normal running, jumping etc etc. Today she seems slow, keeps stretching legs back one at a time when standing still, seems a little slow. Is still digging looking for bugs with her beak. No obvious signs of any injury, still able to walk and run, still eating. All other chickens are fine. Any ideas?

Has she been laying eggs recently? What do her droppings look like? Can you check her crop this evening on the roost and again in early morning to see if it has emptied overnight. If it is full and hard, doughy, or puffy like a balloon, she might have a crop problem. Sometimes it helps to confine them in a dog crate with food and water to observe for anything unusual. Offer her some wet chicken feed or chopped scrambled egg to see if she will eat. Sometimes a few drops of Poultry NutriDrench may perk up a sluggish chicken.

She has been laying, eating, drinking. I gave them food with rooster booster and she ate it, im probably over reacting, but was judt curious. Im thinking she may have hurt her legs jumping somehow
