It is frustrating when a good layer stops laying. I have the same problem. My RIR hasn't layed for over a YEARView attachment 1780573  . Here she is, doesn't even scratch like like the others do anymore. She is only 3. I cannot wait to see some responses too. I have tried everything. Thanks

I will have to wait until she is done free ranging and back in the roost tonight. I will not be able to catch her. Too fast! Lol!

Does it feel like a squishy like water balloon or hard and firm more like a soccer ball.

By "plenty of outside time" do you mean she free ranges? If so, look for a hidden nest. Under a shed, in a hedge, or somewhere with some fairly thick growth, etc.

Yes free ranges. No nest outside unfortunately. Not last summer or this spring. Checked already.
