30$ 7ft chicken run!

I like this idea. We've spent around $400 on our main coup so far. This would be great for the second or third run I've been afraid to tell my husband I would like.

That is so cool. How is it holding up? Do you have bad winters with lots of snow? I wondering how the PVC will hold up to snow and a winter or two.

What a great idea I've been wanting a bigger run for when I can't let the ladies out, wasn't sure how I was going to not only build but afford it... This looks great I am off to the shops in the morning :)

is doing well. It's very shaded and honeysuckle is beginning to grow over the run, so I think it will hold up nicely!

I used PVC pipe, free pallets, and zip ties along with some screws and brackets. We are building nesting boxes on part of the frame and a thick PVC chicken feeder on the other. Ill post final pics soon. Very simple design

Beautiful job, where do you get the wire panels and how much are they?

How wide is this? I have a spot that 10 ft wide by 24 feet long that I want to put their run it. Bug my spot is mostly sunny. What other plants could grow on it? I would love maybe so fruit or something so I could eat them while perviding shade. Grapes maybe? And I have left over goat fence that holes are 2 by 4 but the chicken are inside a wooden fence that has cement around the edges so I'm not worried about critter a. Do you think this would hold up?

And do u think it could be made smaller? Maybe only 3 ft high by 4 feet wide to attach to a tractor? Or been used for chicks during the day or bunnies?
