And do u think it could be made smaller? Maybe only 3 ft high by 4 feet wide to attach to a tractor? Or been used for chicks during the day or bunnies?

would surely think so! Those are great uses for the run

Any chance you could post a picture of the lattice door? I am hoping to build your run by the end of this weekend when I will be taking over some friends chickens who are moving away. I'm really excited and want to get this right. Thanks

I'm building one of these this weekend. I've been told that if I paint the PVC, it won't break down from UV damage. Is it safe for the chickens if I paint it? I suspect it is, but I just want to make sure, since I'm new to this!

My month old chicks want to go outside their hutch and small grazing area badly. I either have to buy a floorless screen tent or build what you showed .
Can you give me a material list? Love the flexibility and it probably costs less than the tent idea. Must make a proper chicken run with fencing - but the girls need to graze now .. Thanks

My new one month old chicks want to graze. I happen to have some 12' perforated E D S plastic drainage pipe 4 1/2 " diameter that have 1" holes. Im wondering if I could use the smallest pvc and make arches then cover with chicken wire - thus making this a flexible chicken run that I could attach to the coop so they can come and go. I can move the run around letting them explore new areas of the lawn.Sound crazy?? If I use wood it wouldn't be flexible and less ease in movement.

This would work well for a run for us. We have lots of lumber so it wouldn't cost too much.

That is an awesome looking chicken run. I will be receiving my first chicks in a couple of months and have been racking my brain about their run. You just solved that for me and the future flock. Thanks
