Just got a text message. Son and his family have tested negative for Covid and are on their way here. We'll exchange presents, they'll stay the night and then go back home. First we will have seen our DIL in 2 years. The Princess is happy.

My present from my son was a fairly large metal rooster. I told the Princess, "Look 'Laine I have a big 'rooster'. She didn't think it was funny. 
Son and his family have headed home. Odd to me that you don't realize how much you have missed someone until you see them once again.
