30 degrees and Call ducks are laying eggs!!!! WOOTIE WOOT WOO!!!

    I cannot believe it. [​IMG] [​IMG] [​IMG]
    It has been 30 degrees at night here and 40 during the day and I have 4 call duck eggs today!! 2 are the same kind so I think they might have started laying due to the nice weather the last couple of days. I am so excited.....have to warm up the 2nd bator since the geese and pekin duck eggs are filling up the other bator. What a horrible problem to have!

    The thing that is so cool is everyone says how the calls don't lay many eggs, and here it is in the midst of winter and they are laying eggs! I am so excited! And best part is my DD got to find them. She figured it would be next spring before we would get any eggs at all.

    All are under a year but not for sure exactly.....we don't know what kind there are because they are all running together.....it will be interesting.
