Hey guys so I have 6 duck eggs and I’m on day 19. I just went to spray them with water and let them sit out of the incubator for like 10 minutes and.... I completely forgot about them! ( I know I am terrible!!!) I feel soooo bad! They were only out for around 30 minutes but when I felt them they weren’t cold but they weren’t warm either. I pray these babies are okay!!! What do you think? Can they still make it? I really hope so!!! :fl

30 minutes: probably fine.

I agree, you should be fine. Did you know that Brinsea has an incubator with the ability to program it to let the eggs cool off? They link some studies that show that to be a good thing, but those studies ae about geese, not chickens or ducks, but still.

Broody chickens, ducks, geese, pheasant, turkey's all leave the nest for a while to eat and drink and take a humongous poop they have been storing up for a full day or more. Often that is for longer than a half hour. Don't do it again but personally I would not worry at all.
