30% protein feed?

I have read about the different levels of protein that people feed there birds. But I can only get 30% protein level feed is this going to cause problems feeding my adult quail?

If it's is what can I do to lower the protein, maybe mix in some lower level protein.

If you mixed 1 part 30% with 1 part 8% protein corn you would have 19%.If you can post the feed tag people you can better suggestions.

Just feed 30%, you'll be fine. A lot of very experienced keepers never take their birds off 30% there are no ill effects that you'll notice. If you ever start to line breed birds that lay xtra large eggs then you may want to back the protein off to avoid blowouts but by the time you're doing something like that you'll have the experience to tell if 30% is too much.

For baby chick until week 4 ......I use 30% protein wet with vitamins and electrolyte water..

At week 3 or 4, 30% wet with chopped hardboiled egg's.

add chopped hard boiled Egg's, or chopped Broccoli or 30% protein with Cinnamon Blueberry/Strawberry mash.
