33 weeks old...where, oh where, are the eggs?

One more thing: We only get 6-7 eggs per day among our 12 female chickens....this has been pretty consistent since laying began in earnest. Since we don't have production layers, I would not expect to get 11 or 12 a day, but some days get even as low as 4 or 5. So, this is another reason we don't think the DBL are laying yet. Even our Black Jersey Giant is laying already and we thought she'd take forever (and she was the last of the chickens - besides these DBL - to start laying).
