33week old BR not laying

My 33 week old barred rock hen still hasn’t laid an egg and really hasn’t shown any interest in the nesting boxes. She should have laid around mid Sept-mid October and nothing. Any ideas what might be causing such a big delay?

Some just mature later than others. Assuming that she is a pullet, she will lay.

Probably the short days of fall/winter.

Yes, 5 out of 7 of my hens are laying. Sixth hen should lay any day now. She’s been squatting for 2 weeks. Just my one BR hen showing no interest.

Some chickens just take longer than others. If she seems healthy, then you don’t have to worry. I know waiting is hard though
