36 hours from external pip. Not making progress! Should I help?

My eggs started external pip 36-48 hours ago. They made 2 more cracks last night before bed, but haven't really made any progress. I can hear them squeaking in there. Should I help? They're at day 30. Started pipping at day 28.

Are the crack part of the unzip above the internal membrane? I know u might be looking at sticky too.... Can u candle and see anything?

I peeled back the shell that was broken and the it's a hole in the membrane. I can see their beaks and they are squeaking. I think the humidity got too low and the shells are quite hard. Here is a pic. You can see their beaks.

I am one to assist when they make no progress in 24 hours... not saying you should, just that I do.

Looking closer, the membrane may be stuck to them.

Can you peel more of the shell of (just shell), but stop if you see blood. Here is a picture:



Peel and post new close up pictures of freshly peeled areas.

When the membrane is stuck to them I apply distilled water with a q-tip.
