36 in lockdown today...

The whole incubation period went so fast this time!....until now!! Omg,I am so anxious to see what I get! They are mixes from my chickens...I put them on lockdown today and I have seen some rockin' going on

Can't wait to see how successful this hatch is(it's only number 2 for me).I started with 44 eggs...5 weren't fertile and 3 quit around day 3 0r 4.Temp is holding at 100.0(thermometer is sitting on the wire mesh) and humidity is 65 % in an LG still air.Both vents are open... I'm guessing from everything I've read,that's acceptable.Anyway,just wanted to tell somebody! I will post pics after they hatch

Anyone else with hatches this weekend?

Ummm...YEP! It's awesome but nerve wracking! I saw about ten of the different eggs moving today but every time I (obsessively) look in the bator and no one moves...I think..That's it...I messed up and they're all dead!....and then I see one move..

and it keeps cycling like this until hatching.Then, you see a pip...and you wait....and wait...and wait...when they finally hatch and you have one chick running around bowling with eggs....it gets even MORE nerve wracking!It seems amazing to me these little guys survive after that first one hatches and beats the crap out of them!
So what kind of eggs are you hatching?
