Hi there, my 3 month old Salmon Favorelle started limping 2 nights ago while I was at work, I was told she was also bleeding from her foot. When I got home and found out she was already roosted and I sprayed her foot with Vetericyn and have continued to do that each morning and night. Currently my 5 chicks and 1 rooster roost in a temporal coop in the garage while I finish building their outdoor run. Their pine shavings are thick for when they jump down from the roost. They spend most of the day either free range or in the outdoor tractor I built for them (when I’m not home). I do have 2 daughters that like to play, handle and chase them. I thought it was an injury from running but now I think it might be bumblefoot (a staf infection, correct?) that needs to be treated with epson salt bath morning and night? She is limping and two of her toes curl to the back because I think she is not wanting to walk on her injury. Am I thinking correct? Please advise; photos attached…
