Just set peeping silkie eggs in the hatching tray. WOW must have been started on the way to my house this is day 18...........yeaaahhhh I think. Just want them to hatch safely and healthy and start the New Year out just right.
I liked your Llama picture... it was just, like 3 or 4 pages back, and, and, sigh, so much stuff is going on right now!!! Chicks hatching and future hatches and !!!
Yes, I vaguely remember it....LOL Cool pic. Do the chickens go for a free ride often?
Just Java the EE. I'd catch her riding Sid throughout the summer. Seems she was a little intimidated by the ducks and figured the llama was the safest place.
What? I've had some cracked eggs..... and even after waxing, they've all been quitters.
I love how involved you get with your eggs.
I've yet to wax an egg. Although, I did score a collection of tapered candlesticks at a holiday sale so now I have candles in the house, just in case they are needed

Ditto.
I thought it was great! When I first scrolled down to it, I thought "that is one hairy horse" then really looked at the pick, and read your post.
There is so much posting here that I get overwhelmed and usually don't reply to much.
True. I'm just waiting on my eggs to hatch. Nothing happening until at least tomorrow, and probably Friday when they will hatch.

Now I'm finally caught up with this thread and I really want to sit down with the calendar and see how I can the schedule looks for hatching another batch of my eggs and maybe a round of turkeys before the Icelandics have been separated long enough to be pure.
Once that happens, it'll likely be All Icelandics All the Time!
