Don't see much activity from the other eggs.

; they're probably waiting for my grandson to arrive, yeah that's it.

Congrats to Cielo for best guess and Mahonri, sorry the numbers were so low, but you did get some cool ones!

Awww poor thing. Refuses to eat anything? Even scrambled eggies? She must not feel good.

Nope, I have tried scrambled eggs, pasta, oatmeal, even softened cracked corn and wet mushy feed. However the pox scars appear to be receding and she's now gulping sugar water. Yes, I should put her down, I know. But she keeps perking up so I keep trying things in the name of science.

If it was one of the 'dread' respiratory things or something like internal laying, I'd do the deed, but I know some birdies come back from wet pox so worth a shot if she's not suffering..

Gotta go check the bator.. cmon chickies!

I am with you......give her every chance you can before making the decision to cull.

You all know how pipping is contagious........... My lone little chick & zipper are beeping away and now have woken up a few more pippers.

I was up at 3.. umm 3:30 after trying to go back to sleep. I think it's one of those 'getting middle aged' things (geeze, did I just admit that?) although I have always been an early riser, even back to high school..

I've done worse... I think I once had 1 out of 75+ hatch. Her name is Elda.

I am sorry that one didnt make it. OH! I brought out bandaids, but totally forgot. Does that one SF still need booties or did her toes straigten out? We can call her "Paddles".

I'm in CA so it was 3ish for me too. I was a total party pooper at sleepovers and was up having breakfast with the parents as my girlfriends slept on.

I have another one from a later clutch that looks almost exactly like Ostrich. I'm hoping it's a pullet.

This cracked me up.

I've got one fully hatched, but it's not one of the early pippers....they're all still pipped. I hope I'm not going to have a repeat of my usual hatches where 3 or 4 of them pip and then die.
