Thank you everyone. Well when we cMe home yesterday I saw a surprise visitor ...and on our drive home we saw 2 different moose on our road. So yes total enclosure a d sealed tight run is all my chicks will get unfortunately.

You'll want to search on Bear in the predator section of the site. In short you're going to need a HOT electric fence around the perimeter.

Hi Amy and welcome to BYC! So happy to have you here. You really do have the predators. My main problem is from a pair of hawks who like to raise babies in my neighbor's yard. I have a secure coop and run and just started modified, supervised free ranging. Good luck with your flock.
