Hello all,

I have a mix of 28 chick eggs, and only 4 eggs hatched. Saturday the 30th was day 21 and I am still waiting on the others.

After candling, I found one I was sure was dead. The breeder I purchased from suggested I put it into a bag and cracked it open to have a look. I did this and found a fully formed chick. I didn't see a heart beat or any sign of life otherwise.

Do you think they all suddenly died in late stage, or so you think the others will still hatch?

That's rough.
What incubator do you have?
Is it calibrated?
What temperature and humidity were you running?
What the diet of the parent flock?
himimi I believe is the brand and it was calibrated to my knowledge.

I followed the machine directions and did 100F and 70% . I am not sure of the diet of the parents as I purchased these eggs off a breeder.

Was it 70% the entire time? Did you personaly calibrate it?

I upped the humidity in the hatching stage. No I did not personally do it. Very possible
What was the humidity during incubation and during hatching? 70% is good for lockdown, but not for incubation.
If you didn't do it, then it likely wasn't correct, I'm sorry.
I followed what the incubator instructions said and the instructions from the breeder to keep it at 70% during incubation and 75-80% during hatching

What level do you recommend?
