4-5 week old chick can't stand up

I looked at your pics, I say start getting ready for chicken dinner !! Most definatly Broilers !!! If you don't wan't to keep them, put an ad on craigslist for someone to finish them for you. then put them in your freezer. Give Purly poultry a call and get yourselves a few laying hen pullets. do you want grocery store type eggs? then get leghorns. If you like big, brown eggs get some heavy /dual purpose chickens like Orpingtons,Barred Rocks,Rhode Island Reds,Wyndottes, their are many varieties. A lot of them come in Bantam sizes and will lay really small eggs, so know what you want !!! The sex links are pretty easy to sex by color. Go to some hatcherie websites and you will see everything you could possibly want. you can order all pullets (hens) straight run (Male and female mixed) but you usually end up with more males than you could ever want. I would go all pullets if it's a laying flock you want. Also for a little variety in the eggs, get some Americaunas or Easter eggers, they will lay blue/green eggs AND such fun to open the carton and see those colorful eggs !! Where do you guys live? Purly Poultry is in Oshgosh Wisconsin. Tyler and his wife are new in the hatchery business. I ordered a book from them on a thursday and on the following saturday it was in the mailbox. They have many varieties of chicks and go out of their way to keep customers happy. They have a website and a phone line to call in your order if you don't like your account number being put on your computer. they also have a facebook fan page that gives regular updates on any specials their running!!! They advertise on backyard chickens so look for their telephone number !!! Keep me posted !! Laurie Matson,Montgomery Minnesota.

Laurie! I can't thank you enough! If you sold them, i'd buy from you! My husband is as disappointed as i am. We put a lot of energy and time into these chicks hoping for good egg layers. So do these lay any eggs at all?

Going to check out your source tonight, for sure.

They won't lay eggs. They'll die by a few months old
