Soooo, my husband and I bought 4 Peking ducklings for our 7yr old. They are about 2weeks old. Currently they are living in our bathtub, but will be moving to the garage in a few days once my exercise run gets here. YES YES YES they are messy, we are constantly hosing out the tub, but they love it we let it fill a bit for them to swim. Here is my question: We are ordering a chicken coop that sits off the ground for us to place outside. We live on 4acres of waterfront(river/creek) so water will not be a problem. My husband seems to think a chicken coop is not the proper housing. We plan to put it close to the water. I say it will work just fine....thoughts???....thanks in advance. Sincerely, our first rodeo with ducks!
