A few days ago, we went to our local feed store and bought 4 bantam chicks all of different breeds...The only one i have identified was the our silkie (pretty easy to identify because of its skin color and feathers) but the other three are still in question...

.
Chick #1 : Has large "fluff ball" on its head... but the feet are not like a silkie's, has grey along it's back as well

Chick #2 : This one is completely black except for his white back end. He is smaller than the others (genetic... others of his breed were the same size at the store) everything else is completely normal.

Chick #3 : sitting next to our graceful silkie (Left) Is Chick #3... he looks like a rhode island red to me... but since he is a bantam i do not know... brownish red in color with darker chocolate brown stripe down the middle of his lower back.

Our family has not had chicks in so long and never bantams... we hope that you can share your knowledge!
~Thanks

Okay, #1 looks like a Polish
#2 I can't be sure, Yellow feet= Jersey Giant, Pink feet= Australorp.
#3 you are correct, Silkie,
And #4 could be a Production Red, or a Sex-Link.

Thank youuu!
I think the Polish has taken a liking to me... it is nice to have an understanding on which breed they are!

No problem! If they are pullets, the #2 will be laying brown eggs, and so will #4. I'm no Polish or Silkie expert, but the coloring of their earlobes will tell you what color eggs they lay.

Red Earlobes= Brown eggs (But some breeds such as Dorkings don't lay brown eggs, they lay cream)

White Earlobes= White eggs

Oh... now i need to figure out their gender! Well...I guess i will just have to wait till they are a bit older then that... i am not as concerned about the eggs since they are bantams and they are gonna have small eggs anyway. Thanks for the extra info though :)
