I’ve been eyeing out a local farm that had some chicks for sale of various breeds (unfortunately the main breed I wanted, Australorp, was not for sale). I ended up buying four 1-2 week old Brahma chicks, two black, one white and one red, along with a 3-4 week old pullet from a breed which in the Arabian Peninsula is called “Boom”, with columbian colors.

I tried to use my knowledge gained from reading these forums and from other sources about sexing chicks to try and pick all hens when I was choosing them. So I would humbly ask for your opinions on the matter of what sex you think all the chicks are, as well as what breed or perhaps mix of breeds you think the “Boom” chick is. I’ll include a picture from the farm of examples of the breed when fully grown as well.

It has been almost 7 weeks since I got the chicks, so here are some updated pictures.

Also after some searching around I’ve come to the conclusion that “Boom” is Arabia’s word for the Russian Orloff, however I could be mistaken.

My specific Boom is probably a hybrid of Sussex with an Orloff.

My guesses are that the Orloff, black and red(buff?) Brahma’s are pullets, while the white Brahma is a roo. But, I would greatly appreciate any input anyone might have :)

The black and the white are both cochins.... and both cockerels.
the buff (which is the 4th pic) also looks like a cochin, but I can't see the comb very well. I think its a cockerel too.
The last bird, the white with white legs, looks like a light sussex, but it has muffs and beard. That could be mixed with something like an orloff, but I'm not sure. I believe that's a pullet.

I missed that the OP called the white one a Brahma, it is a Cochin. The buff one has a pea comb so is a Brahma. It's variety is blue buff. The black one with leakage may have a variety name as well. Overseas there are some wild variations of Brahmas :) Could also just be black with leakage though

I see single combs on the black and the white.... but I can't see the comb on the buff well enough to say; but it does look like probably a pea. That's why I was saying cochin... the single combs.
