I had a 3 day old chick brake a leg. There's not much you can do except make sure they can get to the food and water. The good news is, at that young of an age, they heal pretty quckly. My chick is now a 2 year old rooster making babies lol so dont loose hope
!!

Just had the same problem happen to me. It's mom didn't recognize her after they were separated for a few seconds and she attacked it. Don't know if that even happens sometimes... How's your chick doing G0600127? Has it gotten better? What did you do?

Not so tough farmer moma I was wondering if you did anything like splinter the leg or anything else at all?
We splintered the part that we saw was broken (which seemed like her thigh). How long did your chick take to heal approx?
I wonder what negative signs must one look after...

And this chicken... worries me because she attacked two other chicks that got to close to her when she was with her chick... I'm worried she'll be aggressive like this for as long as she forgets about her own chick (right now don't think we should keep allow her to go to the flock, and I guess we'll have to keep her in a space that is small so she won't walk much....? What are your thoughts?
