4 day old chick not weight bearing on one leg

Hi,

I have a 4 day old brahma chick who is not putting weight on his right foot. I have been away for a few days so not sure when it happened. Possible slipped tendon? What do I look for and do if it is? Never had this in a chick so any advice would be great.

It looks like she is not putting weight on the left foot. That could be a slipped tendon. You can read a couple of links to see if the back of the hock is flatter on that leg, and learn how to put it back in place:

Thank you, I checked her tendon and it was in the correct place, she has continued to improve and can't tell at all now so assumed she must have injured it. I imagine one of the others stood on jt
