Our 2 ducklings were walking fine when we brought them home yesterday. We have them in a 30 gallon tub on towels with food, water, and heat lamp. Both were walking, eating, drinking fine. Then this morning, one of them doesn't stand. When it walks, it limps horribly. When I lifted it to look at the leg/foot, it just dangled limply. But I've seen it use the same foot to scratch its head, and it doesn't seem distressed when it walks to eat or drink. Also, it hardly makes any noise, but its eyes look bright and alert and it seems healthy otherwise - although our daughter did pick it since it was the runt. It is NOT spraddle leg because the other leg seems fine. Will it heal with time, and if so, would vitamins and/or calcium help? Is there anything else I can do? We all want it back on its feet, and we don't want it to suffer!

Thanks for any advice from someone with similar experience!

Defintly give some vitamins and extra protien never hurts .. sccrambled eggs are great as they are easy to prepare and have l good amount of protien
