4 Day Vaca and no one to collect eggs...

1.) Will my eggs be okay if I cannot have someone collect them?
2.) Will leaving the eggs for multiple days knock my hens from their laying schedule?.

Your eggs will be fine for a couple weeks. They should lay like usual if you have plenty of food and water for them.

You may have some broken eggs when you get back, if the nest box has a lot of eggs, they will get stepped on. Do they all use the same nest box? GC

4/5 seem to use the same one and the other used the second box... If I get more than 3 a day this week, I may see if I can have find someone to drop by.

If they do break, what is the chance that the hens will eat them and decide to become "egg eaters"? I certainly do not want that to happen.

That depends on the individual hen, and if they are protein deficient. I have seen my hens eat an egg, a couple of times, that a hen layed in pen and broke. But they did not become egg eaters because I limit treats, I make sure they eat mostly layers pellets. GC
