we had a Dominique eggbound a couple of months ago. I work in a vet
hospital and had x-rays taken. the shell was rubbery so after a while
of bathing and evoo-ing we syringed out the contents of the egg.
she never passed it! don't know if it reabsorbed, or is just stuck there,
but she is healthy and back to laying normally!! go figure.
