My 8 year son wants to show a chicken at the fair in the fall and we are wondering what classes is he able to show in and when he should get his chicken ?

It depends on where you live, but where I live you can no longer sign up for 4H this year. I do not know much about chicken 4H but you would have to contact your counties 4Hs extension office and find out more information such as what breed, what would he do when he shows what what group would he join. Good luck and I hope he can still sign up! Let me know what you find out because I am thinking about doing it next year.
