Hey,
I'm a 4-H planning on selling thanksgiving turkeys to already interested friends and family but how much coop space is needed? I'm looking at around 10 birds so far and I need to plan and build a coop. I don't have the pasture to free range. San Diego only has scrub brush :/ I plan on having both large whites and a few bronze. These would be just for meat. Pics would be great!! Or a link as to where to find some already posted :)

As large a pen as you have room for and can afford. The more room they have to move around, the healthier they will be and the better they will taste.

With the number of coyotes you have in San Diego County, I would not suggest free ranging. You want to eat them yourself, not feed them to the coyotes.
