4-h project could use some tips genetics and general behavior

`I'm doing a 4-h project and i would to know a thing or two about genetics. All I know about genetics is that its like the traits you get. My other option I would like to do is general behavior. But its just like a chicken acts how a chicken acts does this mean like how it should act normally like when its not sick. If someone could help that would be great.

Genetics are traits, like you said, passed down from parents to offspring such as feather color, type of comb, color of shanks, etc..

General behavior is what a chicken looks like when healthy. Alert, eating, crowing, walking around, etc..
