4 H/ Showing chickens help

MY kids would like to get involved in raising and showing a chicken. We dont know who to contact or where to start, we reside in Michigan Genesse county. Any help would be greatly appreciated.

If you google 4-H and your county name or city name you should find some links to the local office or college that supports your program. They can hook you up with some local poultry people in the 4-H program.

I am showing chickens in 4-H for the first time this year, but I am a 7 year member so I jsut have to put that I'm also taking chickens this year. I cant wait
