Anyone know the best way to get in touch with people from 4-h? I have two bucklings (soon to be wethers), that would make great 4-h projects. I am in the middle of the city, so it's hard to find people here who want/need goats, but I know there must be some 4-h groups not too far away that might have kids interested.

Try your county extension agent...should be listed as that...not sure how California organizes stuff...little late for he kids in our neck of the woods...Shows start at the end of this month and you gotta have ownership for several months before a show usually...

If ya'll do fall shows this about right to start getting animals...really depends on breeds and what your area supports

Yea definately the extension offices They can give you your info and help you find the nearest club to you.
