4 India Blue 1 year old Peafowl: 2 males 2 females. Extremely friendly, we are so attached to them, watched them hatch from mom and she did a beautiful job raising them. They are mostly wild, sleep 30' feet up a tree. We just feed them breakfast and dinner and sometimes an occasional treat. Extremely people friendly, dog, sheep, pig, cat & chicken friendly. Looking for similar home-life for them.

they sound wonderful i hope you find a wonderfull home for them, do you free range them?

thank you :)
yes, they are free-range, but they are used to their morning and evening meal. and occasional treats, blueberries, bread, each one has a favorite of somekind. we are hoping to find a similar setting, no cages or pens. they sleep so high up that they are not in danger. thanks for your reply!

wow, what a beautiful environment for your birds and dogs :) I wish mine could be there too! I'm so sad that we can't keep the whole family but we run an Inn and the guests are complaining that they're too loud :( where do you live?

I live in Texas, mine are only noisy during breeding season and when there is something in the area that don't belong.
It is very quite here now my 5th male just lost his train and that means my breeding season is over.

our adult male still has his train and displays it and calls all day long...in front of one of the vacation cottages. the yearlings and parents seem to chime out pretty often but maybe this is because we have a constant turnover of guests. they all are used to how it is around here but their vocals are causing complaints. last year our adult male lost his train by now. not sure why he still has it.
