Is it bad that i think this is a cool chick. I would never wish to have a deformed chick..but if I were to have one...that one would be it

I was thinking the same thing. It kinda looks like a wind up chick that I got my daughter for Easter last year. I hope she turns out to be happy and healthy.

The quickest way to cull a chick is with a sharp pair of shears to the neck.

I've only had to cull one full grown hen who had her lung punctured by a coyote. I used Engine Starter Fluid aerosol sprayed on a paper towel and put her and it in a small airtight container. It was over relatively quick (30 seconds at most). It contains Ether. From what people have told me from it being used on them in surgery (a long time ago) is you feel very warm, and them go to sleep. You DO MOVE and jerk at first. But no one said it was painful or hurt at all. I guess I'm a big sissy that way.

You know, it would be interesting to see what is going on inside that little one.

Like does it have two of any organs or what! I wonder if a vet school or ag school would want to give her an xray to see whats going for research and what not.

Well then, you must not think anything about a deformed child is cute then either. I, for one, think the chick is adorable, and if you can save him/her and they will have a good life then keep him/her.
