OK...I have a 4 month old buff brahma chick that has had chronic diarrhea for it seems like forever. I have just brought him into the house and given him a bath and towel dry followed by hairdryer on low. He eats well and acts like the others, just has nasty diarrhea. Everyone else is fine. Any advice would be appreciated.
 
Is it kind of a butterscotch color and is it stinky? If so, that is probably just cecal droppings. It's sticky, nasty and stinky, and perfectly normal. I have a few chickens that do that, and they often have that type of a dropping when they get excited.....

Might be nothing to worry about.....

Actually, no. It is runny and gets all down his legs and rear end. It does smell terrible though. I am trying to figure out how to post a picture so you can see.
 
If your chick eats treats and doesn't have access to grit, it won't be able to digest them. Also, some vegetables which are high in fibre, such as cabbage, can cause diarrhea. I hope this helps. Good luck with your chick.
