I think I see a pea comb on one of the Rhodies... but the rest don't have impressive tail feathers yet. Last time I did this I thought they surely had big tail feathers by now. What do you think? There's 7 chickens and a duck (if you want, guess what he/she is too!)

You have got all girls there, including the duck :) I might be leaning a little towards roo for one of the RIRs. Very pretty Easter Eggers, too.

Yep.. I should really call them that here since everyone knows what that is. Farm and Fleet had them labeled as Ameraucanas. I do hope for blue eggs though!
I'm not sure what farm and fleet is but most farms stores mislabel them. They probably got them from a hatchery.Hatcheries dont sell ameraucanas, well they label them as "americanas" but they are really easter eggers. There is a chance for blue eggs but you could get green, pink, and sometimes brown.

To confirm the duck's sex, just listen.. If it quacks, a LOUD quack, then it is a female. If it is raspy and quiet, or even still sounds like a chirp, drake.

Thanks! I think he/she sounds less honky than the first one in this video (not my video) ...much more like the second one. I answer him/her noise with a "rack-rack" versus a "quack-quack"
