4 month old chicken died, can I replace her with a 1 month old?

Ive got a 4 month old silkie rooster, his friend drowned the other day. If I get him another friend its gunna have to be a month old chicken. Is this safe for the month old?

You do have to follow a 30 day quarantine period, then slowly introduce them. Another silkie?
