I have been thinking about getting two Angora weathers for years. What is the most difficult thing about keeping them? I grew up having Nubian goats. Angoras look so mythical. When you see angoras in person you think... "WOW"!

They most definantly are beautiful, the hardest part with my showgirls, is grooming their hair for show. But with you wanting to keep them as pets, you won't have to worry about doing that. They can free range, and you can provide them as much feed as you want. The recommended feed to use is called Nauman's Angora feed. Over here it costs 12.75 a bag. Don't ever bathe them, as you will ruin their hair. They get shaved twice a year, August first and March first. You can then sell their mohair to any company that buys it, they will then send you a check based on the quality and amount of hair they have. I was paid 106.38 for 17 lbs from the two of my girls. They use one pound for tare (quality testing) and add a couple of taxes, less than q dollar each. Personally, they are the easiest breed to do. If you would like a couple, let me know your location, and I might be able to hook you upI have been thinking about getting two Angora weathers for years.
