4 new hens/pullets - what breed are they?

SpeckledPullet you know that Australians made Australorps from black Orpingtons -the name is Austral (ian) Orp(ington).I think your black girls are Brahma mix with one of these breeds-Australorp or Orpington.If they where mix Brahma and Sex Link they will have yelow legs like your Wyandotte mix girl.Most important is they are nice looking girls and you will be happy with them

What color are the underside of their feet? Pink or yellow? I have one hen left out of 3 birds that when I got them I thought they were Australorps. Then I looked at the bottom of their feet and they were all yellow. They were Jersey Giants...not Australorps. Pink = Australorp; Yellow = Jersey Giant. So, yours that have grey legs might be Australorps, but they also might be JG's. Check their feet out. Also, the one with his head poking out on the left looks like my roo did when he was young. So, he might be a male. Mine turned out beautiful, HUGE, and mean as all get out. But my 2 hens looked just like the one in the front when they were younger - the one I have left lays just about everyday.
