any ways
I have 4 silkie eggs (first 4 eggs the silkie ever layed)
its day 3 and one egg (the first ever egg tht silkie layed) looks clear and other 2 show sign lf life but the 4th one is like at the size of day 5 although its just day 3 I candle them after every 4-5 day
my bator is still air and home made
my temp is bout 100-101
I turn my eggs 2 - 4 times in 24 hour
my humidty might be 50-60 cuz I cant measure that but feels 50 ish
is every thing ok?

Temp sounds good. Turn your eggs like 3 or 5 times a day. Any ODD number so they don't sit on the same side every night. That may explain the wonky development in that one egg. As far as humidity, you need a hygrometer. Humidity is very important during incubation. Too little and you get shrink wrapped chicks, too much and they stick or drown. You can wing it, but the chances of having a failed hatch are significantly higher if you don't know what your humidity is. Good luck.

im gonna wing it I bought this thermometer for 45 dollars and the shope keeper will give me a hygrometer for 230 dollars that has some special humisty optimizer and sessions etc its like a full thing but I just simply want a normal hygeometer that he doesnt have and cheap and were I live no buddy incubates eggs this incubqtion shop is a 3 hour drive soo yeah ....

ps its 65 humidty in the air today I have no AC running so no humidty is being wasted qnd I have dessert coolers working almost 24 hours a day so they pump up the humidty a whole lot! oh and can I use a normal medical thermometer to know the temp in the bator cuz I think my wall thermometer is messed up like if the air is constantly 100 degree shouldnt the heat get throught the thick blub of a medical thermometer ?

I'm not sure where you're from, but is there not a Wal-mart, Lowes, Home Depot, TSC, Southern States or any pet store with reptile or amphibian products near you? I got my hygrometer at TSC (its a thermometer/hygrometer combo), but I've seen hygrometers at all of those places. I paid less than $4 for mine. If you go to places like Lowes, you'll probably need to look in the outdoor thermometer section. That's where my TSC had them as well (even though they sell incubators, they didn't carry hygrometers specifically for them?).
The humidity outside will effect the humidity inside your house. The humidity inside your house will effect the humidity inside your incubator. I keep mine around 45-50% the first 18 days. At lockdown I ramp it up to 65-70%. If your incubator is very humid (and it really sounds like it may be) your eggs will not loose the proper amount of liquid mass as they get closer to hatch. They are supposed to loose moisture as the embryos grow. If they don't, the chicks drown when they pip into the air sac.
I hope everything works out and you see some chicks. I've winged it and had decent hatches but that wasn't at a very humid part of the year. I'm in Va and our summers are super humid. I run my incubator pretty much completely dry, except for adding a splash here or there and it stays at 45-50% doing it that way. And I have my AC running all the time. Ugh, I'd love it if we had 65% humidity outside!

Oh, and PS-
All I have are Silkies, that's what I hatch in my incubator. I've had a much more difficult time with them drowning and sticking than I ever did with my egg layers or even my Cochins eggs. I've had much better luck keeping them dryer for the first 18 days.

I live at the other end of the world no walmarts here :/ u dont even get incubators here but I like eggs and chiken so much I made my own ! my cousin might have a hygrometer as he once hatched eggs ill get it by 2moro if he has it those eggs r in luck if not ive gotta test my senses :/

Yea, I guess that makes things a little harder. Are there no pet supply stores there? There's just got to be a cheaper option. The hygro doesn't have to be fancy...

they r but for cats and dogs only ps is it ok if I write on my egg with a pointer pen cuz my little sister did -_- she wrote "a" on one will it kill the egg ...
