4 week light brahma chick

The Light Brahma, had a small pea comb but now he has a huge red pea comb. We have one that is fully feathered and I believe "she" is a girl. Her comb is small unlike the other brahma.View attachment 2627941View attachment 2627944View attachment 2627945

That's a cockerel. No doubts now.... That comb is huge!

This was one of my pullets from last year, thought she was a male until the saddle feathers appeared (that comb was even more pinkish than in the photo). She ended up to be the first to begin laying. Brahmas are difficult to sex on comb, so I just wait to see the saddle feathers to be sure.

That's what my light brahma pullet looked like last year.
