I helped this little guy out of his shell after he had been stuck for about 12 hours. He has been a little smaller than the rest and walks tilted to the side and runs in circles when he gets excited. His comb has been this swollen for about 1 and 1/2 weeks. I say the comb but it's really all of the red on his head and I don't know what it's called. I don't think this is a normal rooster comb because we have hatched many and none of them develop the enlarged dark red combs until much later. There are even some other Roos in the batch but they don't look anything like him.
