3 of the chicks. The second black one was being camera shy today.

Chick #1. I was told this one was a Araucana.

Chick #1 top of head

Chick #2 (black Cochin) with Chick #3 in the background.

Chick #2 top of head/body.

Chick #3 in front. I was told this one was also an Araucana.

I couldn't get any good pictures of the second black Cochin, but will try to post pictures of him/her and a better picture of chick #3 tomorrow. Does anyone have any guesses as to what they think the sexes are? Can anyone confirm the breeds? Thank you!!

I dont know if the ones are really cochins or not, but the araucanas are actually easter eggers.Araucanas are rumpless or have no tails.

Not sure as to the breed of the black chicks. The other two are Easter Eggers. A lot of hatcheries/stores call these 'colored egg chickens' Ameraucanas or Araucanas.

I thought they might be EE. The person I got them from hatched them from fertilized eggs she got from a local farm.

The black ones could be cochin but it doesn't look like they have the vulture hocks or what we call "rockets" in our house that all of our cochin had.
Hard to tell from those pics though. Can you get a side pic?
