4 week old duck question

How long can 27 day old ducklings frollic outside if the day temp range is only 12 to 17C? (52F to 63F)?

There are only 2 of them so they can't huddle for warmth much. The sun is strong here being closish to Antarctica but the ground and air temps are cool.

They should be alright down to about 60°F / 15.5°C.

They will likely be fine all day. Keep an eye on them if it gets windy or they have been in water. There behavior will be the best answer to your question.

Please ensure they have a sheltered space away from the wind but catching the sun for them to go to when they rest. My ducks like to sit around in the sun during the cold months

Followed advice from all of you. Was a tremendous success. They stayed mostly in the shade because the sun is intense here when it shone but in and out of the light so they didn't get too cold. I did not put their pool in the daytime enclosure with them because the temp and the chill wind.

I feel like i should stick to indoor swims in bath until they have feathers given our summer temps are never very high and there is always a chill in the wind. Thoughts?
