Should I be concerned about how much pink on the comb and cheeks. I bought all pullets.
Both Delaware “pullets” have pink cheeks and pink comb. And they push everyone else around and fly at each other. And I saw they were endangered and it was the reason I added it to my order. It’s going to be crazy if they both grow to be roosters, because I cannot keep roosters.

I’m thinking # 2 has more pointed looking feathers. Judy might be Jude.
#1 has more white and neck feathers seem thicker and more rounded. (More gray black from what I hear in cockerel)
But will just be sad if it’s 2.

Most likely, I've got 4 week old Delawares that look much the same and I'm thinking cockerel. However, this is a breed that can have hens with large brightly colored wattles and combs. I wouldn't give up on them yet. As a dual breed (good for meat and laying) we're planning to process all the roos.
Can’t keep it - and would have to give away or pay a local butcher due to our counties law.
