I was wondering what I should be looking out for as he/she gets older to guess gender.
Olive feathered out the same time as her friend Ducky(splash Marans), who I’m pretty confident is going to be a pullet, and feet/legs are same size as Ducky’s. But that comb is pretty pink.

Oof, this is tough. I'm guessing cockerel at the moment, but it's a close call. Normally, that comb wouldn't tip me over the line, but the dark hackles make me think it's a boy. Blue (this gray color) cockerels and roosters tend to have darker hackle and saddle feathers, like this:

Please do update, as it really could go either way. I'm still going back and forth right this moment. lol.

Thank you! I didn’t know olive eggers had a feathering color to indicate gender. I’ll update in a couple weeks lol

It’s been a week since the last pics. Olive is starting to show some brown feathering on the chest and back. I don’t know if that changes anything but it’s just something I’ve noticed. That comb has gotten bigger and bumpier this week!

I'm gonna say cockerel, the red comb and rust leakage are signs of a male.

Thank you! That’s what I was thinking too but I’m just not experienced enough to trust myself just yet

Gorgeous rooster. Is he yours?

Olive is 6 weeks now. If I have a rooster already can I try to introduce him and his friend to my existing flock or should I keep them separated?

I decided I’m going to keep them separate and try to find a few more Easter eggers or olive eggers. Olive’s getting more brown and red patches on his wings. I bet he’s going to be so handsome. And his friend Ducky grew a white beard so I’m assuming she’s an olive egger as well
