This is my first partridge chantceler, Laverne, she is around 4 weeks old. I don't have another one so cannot compare feathering in, but she seems slow compared to my other girls (different breeds) at 4 weeks. She is flighty, stands tall and aggressive to smaller chicks so I suspect she might be a roo. What do you think?

I'm not terribly familiar with the breed when it first feathers, but it does look like a partridge Chantecler. It is a bit early to determine gender unfortunately. Behavior does not necessarily indicate roo at chick age, because females can be aggressive and pushy too (believe me, I've had to get rid of a Wyandotte at 6 weeks old because she was so nasty to all the other chicks).
