My Brahma Rock chicks and their incubator roommate (SLE Buff EE cross) are cruising right along. Certainly interesting watching them grow. We can tell the rocks apart because one has a comb like a rock, the other like the brahma. The EE looks to be a cockerel, looks identical to his 10 week old brother at 4 weeks comb pinked up exact same and they're all using the perch in their brooder.
The older surprise group we had that was unexpected 3 are roosters. I swear we just tend to get them. The tractor supply group from summer 2020-- 4 roosters 5 hens. This time, 3 roosters 3 hens and the newbies I have no clue on other than the EE possibly being a cockerel. EE is last image striped head
I think somewhere elsewhere in the archives of the forum someone had wondered what a brahma and rock cross would look like. They'd have their answer now but the post was made several years ago.
